  1. Count me in!
I am impressed with the great progress you folks are making and Alberta’s Inclusion.
The FPP Scorecard and Citizenportal.ai are exciting initiatives that will eventually need a coordinated use strategy to be effective.
Accountability and transparency require that those we vote for have real voter oversite. We are creating a tool that will ensure our candidates has that oversite..
We need a messaging strategy to encourage the people, and those we vote in, to engage. Elected Representatives and Candidates, should be in good standing with the People and the Pledge to get our vote..

As recall regulations are being looked at by Danielle Smith in Alberta I am hopeful that we can use this system for a strong grass roots oversite of our elected officials. Thank You

  2. In understanding how deeply entrenched the administrative state has become, we can also remain optimistic that the right hand of government (as the scriptures state) does not know what the left hand is doing. This is important if we are to push back. Here is an example — a young lady gets a speeding ticket. In preparing to fight the fine in court, she gets a copy of the Ministry of Transportation engineer’s report for that particular area, noting how speed limits are determined, and any additional restrictions used as a rationale for posting certain speeds, like the number of driveways on the road, etc. In doing the research, she discovered the Mayor and Council had dictated how fast cars could go on that specific road, but none of them had engineer qualifications. So the logical question is this — who gave the Mayor and Council the authority to make decisions outside the engineering report criteria and post their own speed limit? Taking this one step further, who deputized store owners during covid to dictate the type of medical apparatus customers could wear? Were storeowners medically qualified? I’m sure the audience can add to this list. At the very least, hopefully, it will serve as an incentive for citizens to ask pointed questions — forcing elected representatives to be accountable to the people who elect them. Keep up the good work!

  3. I just came across this quote by Thomas Sowell – “The most basic question is not what is best, but who shall decide what is best.” I suggest this succinctly describes the battle we are in. We are in a battle to determine whether the individual decides what his best for his or her life, or whether governments and unelected bureaucrats get to decide. Canada was founded on the basis of individual rights and freedoms. This is one of the reasons Canada had been envied world wide. However, over the last three years every institution and safeguard that we thought was a defender of individual rights and freedoms capitulated to the tyranny of global control. It is evident that the responsibility to protect individual rights belongs to us – the individuals. This is a wake up call for all of us that love freedom and want to ensure that our children and grandchildren experience the freedoms we experienced. This is our war of independence.

  4. There are many battles being waged right now for the hearts, minds and souls of humanity. As we go about our business protesting, organizing, speaking, holding sway and speaking truth to power or just going about our business calmly hoping for the best, it behoves us to not lose sight of the looming shadow of the larger war. If we as people do not align, if we do not awaken and come together as a huge voting force, we will continue to be abused and disrespected. This pledge signed by too many people to ignore that love the Land and what it stands for, will send that signal, We will make that force visible. We must be heard. We must stabilize our country. All elected representatives need to know where we stand and they need to be very clear about how they will represent us in this toxic tinder box world.
